Staring into the end of something good
knock all month long on this wood
A new dawn comes into fade
it's the beginning of a new day
I'm sure it all makes sense
we're all surviving on borrowed time
can't afford to keep up this rent
but whatever, there's the promise of new light

So this is goodbye, but not good night

who knows? Things might be this time

They say nothing lasts forever - they're true
but I can't help but to feel so blue
I'll miss you all - the camaraderie
sticking by as things went terribly
I'm sure the dusk will lead to dawn
but I can't help but to keep that feeling
like everything is irreversibly gone
but I don't stand alone - the crowd always rings.

this is a new revival, a sort of resurrection
something foretold ever since new conception
the new dawn's brighter every day
as long as this light shines a brand new way

but keeping up - I mean, we should
