about

My final album entirely recorded on a 22kHz mp3 player, this near-three-hour album runs the gamut from sound collage to drone noise to really weird noise (made weirder by the fact that I didn't know how to play bass in time at this time). This is probably the last truly outsider thing I've ever done - but sometimes I wish I had this much guts to do a near-three-hour super-lo-fi album. I mean, Kevin and the Bikes is getting praise from music aficionados, so why not me?

WARNING: this stuff is rough. Super rough. At this time, Will Toledo actually knew how to play his instruments. I don't feel like I got good until like 2012-13 - and I'm not entirely sure about that either.

People really want this shit, don't they?
