Ava's Dismissal

about

People often don't want to humanize people of interest mostly because they believe it ruins their humor. Honestly, if you're gonna laugh at them for whatever reason - somebody trying to make sense of the world via their own interests - at least be aware of what you have the potential of doing.

With that said, here's a song about Ava Zinn and an event in her life that she keeps trying to talk about: that time she got ejected from a university over what I think is her lying about getting on-campus housing. What I think is just what I think because her story is a kudzu field.

Interpolates "Finally Out of P.E." by Brie "people took me having a stunt double as not having an ass, which means I'm not a real sex symbol to comic book big boys, but that statement's been turned into a joke, so I can't do anything about it" Larson

lyrics

Crisp September day
I was on my way,
get educated.
Stop at the CVS for a snack
got quite a few classes -
sadness.
Got my books all out -
a girl in doubt
what her character's about.
And an intern calls me in,
sporting cheeky grins -
make it Hell within.

I can't let it go now - they lied to my greenhorn face.
My life's gone to the cows - I'll think about this on all my days.
Can't forget that Wesleyan dismissal
commuters' no-epistle
locked me out of opportunity
Starin' at death in the factory.

My counselor sits
like the cobra's spit
wants to make it quick.
Thirst for cigarettes
lungs gasp for breath -
I'm dead fuckin' set.
Says I'm too loud
about my nowhere lounge -
they can hear me across town.
So they hand it down,
I throw it on the ground
pretty penny's never found.

I can't let it go now - they lied to my greenhorn face.
My life's gone to the cows - I'll think about this on all my days.
Can't forget that Wesleyan dismissal
commuters' no-epistle
locked me out of opportunity
Starin' at death in the factory.

I can't afford your houses
you find my pain arousing
keep me dead in the water
keep me there with my father
this dismissal is my end
you'd rather wish I was dead
don't I deserve the same chance
have my own city of glass?

I can't let it go now - they lied to my greenhorn face.
My life's gone to the cows - I'll think about this on all my days.
Can't forget that Wesleyan dismissal
commuters' no-epistle
locked me out of opportunity
Starin' at death in the factory.
Stuck 'til death in the factory.

I play guitar, but in your class, that won't get me far.
Please give me a C so I can be finally out of Wesleyan!
