This is the least autobiographical of my solo tracks. I did have a brief job doing cleanup at my local bowling alley around the time I wrote this song, but that’s about it. I have still never had a romantic partner, but I have acted like a dick to people because of my depression and penchant for pouting. So I transferred that to a song about bringing your relationship down through being utterly miserable, and not willing to even attempt happiness.
