so there's this guy who wore a yellow hat and he raped people at geek conventions. he also made reviews of imported video games. I tried to write like two songs about how tragic it was that this guy died, but I couldn't dust them off properly knowing what I know about Mr. Carmical now.

but I don't think entertaining the possibility of him being murdered is a good thing. I'm with Zoe Quinn on this - rehabilitation is more suitable than death, even for pentapod monsters and the habitually abusive. I think we're just so high off of Paul Kersey and Harry Callahan's fumes that we tend to not realize that Michael Winner and Don Siegel made the violence cool in Death Wish and Dirty Harry in order to comment on how amazingly messed up it would be if it happened in real life. it's like thinking that you can fix capitalism by hiring a woman CEO to run Pepsico - you're still keeping the same power structure, just switching out the players.
